In the year 1981 Mr. Lohia started his independent venture “Lohia Corp Limited” (formerly, Lohia Starlinger Limited) and is now the Chairman and Managing Director of the Company. Today LCL is not only the largest and most reputed manufacturer of machinery for HDPE / PP woven sacks and fabrics in the Indian market but is also one of the largest and preferred suppliers of such machinery for the markets World-Wide.
Having more than 35 years of experience into manufacturing of machineries for plastic woven industry, Mr. Lohia also set up Joint Ventures and companies in Europe, Middle East, South America, USA and China mostly in plastics and related fields.
He has Graduated in Finance at the top of the class. Awarded the “Henry Ford II Award” for the student with best academic performance in 1993 and “Outstanding Academic Achievement Award” in 1994.
He is the promoter of Lohia Group and has more than 30 years of experience into the field of finance and holds directorships in various other companies/ firms of the Group.
Currently acting as Chief Financial Officer of Lohia Corp Limited, the flagship company, he is involved in managing the company’s financial planning, performing risk management and implementing investment strategies
Born in 1957 and graduated in commerce, Mr. Lohia has varied experience of more than 30 years in manufacturing business. He understands financial management and wider management principles and techniques
Currently he is serving as the Managing Director of L R Moulds Private Limited and is responsible for the performance of the company and provide strategic guidance.
He also holds directorships in various other companies of the group.
He is presently at the helm of affairs of LOHIA GROUP overseeing finance & legal functions.
Mr. Gupta is on the Board of Indian and foreign companies and has also been on Governing bodies of trade and charitable associations
His article of professional interest has been published in official journal of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and he has also delivered talks as ‘Guest Lecturer’ to the students of International Business Course in MBA programme at IIT, Kanpur.
He was President of Kanpur Prant of Vishwa Hindu Parishad for over 10 years, and remains deeply engaged with numerous Social, Charitable and Educational Institutions.
He has authored several research papers and has served as Chairman in more than 100 conferences on Direct Taxes, Audit and Community Services. He also wrote the screenplay for the play "Survey & Search“, staged in Kanpur in 2008.
He is also appointed as an Independent (Non Official) Director in many Listed Companies, Nationalized Bank and U.P. Stock Exchange Ltd.
He was also an esteemed member of the Regional Direct Tax Committee of U.P.(West), and various Bar Associations and Professional bodies.
